Here is some of the material we have to share about Disability Awareness:

The Gagne Gazette - by Deanne Gagne (PDF, 1.78 MB). Deanne Gagne is a coordinator for Advocates in Action. The Gagne Gazette is a tool we developed to help share her lifestory with others.

We have a Lot in Common! - by Kevin McHale (PPS, 4.3 MB) Kevin is a coordinator for Advocates in Action. This slide show is a tool we developed to help talk to children about what it's like to have a disability.

In 2006 Kevin won a Volunteer of the Year award from the RI Foundation. Click here to read why he won that award (PDF, 8kb).

My Life - by Karen Lema (PPS, 8.03 MB). Karen is one of our former Board Presidents. Her slide show is a tool we developed to help talk to children about what it's like to have a disability.
