The focus of this year’s event is to help attendees become informed-about, prepared-for, and involved-in everyday life.
People who have a disability are the same as other members of society. They can set goals, follow dreams, make mistakes, carry responsibilities, teach others, and help make a difference ... just like everyone else.

Stop - Get Ready-Go
will carry this message loud and clear! Join us at this year's event as we talk, share and learn about a variety of topics including the following:

  • Dating
  • Rights & Responsibilities
  • Being Safe
  • Respect: Respect yourself, respect others and be respected
  • How to Find a Job
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Decision-Making
  • Sexuality
  • Voting & Advocacy
  • Individual Support Plans
  • Leadership Skills

    SPONSOR

    CONFERENCE SPONSORS

The final deadline to place an ad in our conference program has passed, but there are still ways that you can help support this year's conference!

Sponsors can still support us by having a display table at this year's event for the $500 sponsorship level. Click here to download the sponsor form to reserve your table. Please contact us to let us know if you plan to have a display table and return your form no later than Monday, October 27th.

We also welcome your support through the donation of gift certificates and useful give-away items that we can share in the conference bags that each attendee will receive.

Sponsors who have an ad in the program, a display booth at this year's event, and/or are donating items for the conference bags, will be able to reach and audience of 450 plus Rhode Islanders who have a developmental disabilty, family members, support staff and allies who attend our annual event.

Each sponsor will also be listed on our website, which means an even larger target audience for your business or organization.

Your support will help us cover the costs for this event, and make it possible for many people who are on limited incomes to attend. Self-Advocacy is about speaking up and making a difference. Your donation will help us do that. Together, we CAN make a difference. THANK YOU!

    RESOURCE FAIR

INDIVIDUAL SMALL BUSINESS AND RESOURCE FAIR
