Question 1: Is DDD exploring how people who use provider services can access goods & services without having to Self-Direct?

Question 2: Will parents and guardians who are caregivers continue to be paid, until the state makes this permanent in our Medicaid Waiver?

Question 3: Will there be a committee to look at Procedural Safeguards, or do we already have Safeguards in place?

Question 4: How will parents & guardians learn about the various groups the Division will be starting to address various issues? How do people let you know if they want to volunteer to join one?

Question 5: How do I get more hours for my Self-Directed Services? Do I need to redo my SIS, wait until my next SIS, or something else?

Question 6: People who need a higher level of support often end up in congregate housing because it’s less expensive than living independently. What can be done to address this?

Question 7: Under the news process, if people feel their funding isn’t sufficient once they receive their tier and additional allocations, can they still submit and S109 for additional funding?

Question 8: How far in advance of the Individualized Support Plan anniversary date, or expected start date, will people get their funding letters?

Question 9: What is the Effective Date for your new funding level if you have a regularly scheduled SIS and your Tier increases?

Question 10: What is the Effective Date for your new funding if you have a new SIS due to a change in situation and your Tier increases?

Question 11: What is the Effective Date if you have a SIS and your Tier decreases?

Question 12: If a Tier increases, does the new funding begin automatically on the 1st day of the following month, or does there need to be a review of the new ISP and Purchase Order first?

Question 13: What is the difference between the SIS Assessment Date and the Completion Date?

Question 14: Is there are timeline for how long it will take for the information to be available in Therap after a person has their SIS Assessment?

Question 15: When does a person get the results once they’ve had their SIS Assessment?

Question 16: When does the 90 day “clock” start ticking for those whose Tier Decreased as a result of their SIS?
