Staff Changes at the Division

Staff Changes at the Division Will there be a new extension list published for all of the new position that Division has filled? Where can I find the current contact list for Division Staff members?

Parents and Guardians as Support Staff

Parents/Guardians as Support Staff Will all legal guardians be able to stay employed as DSPs at their agency to care for their family member?

Conflict-Free Case Management

When will Conflict-Free Case Management Start? What is the role of my Case Manager? What is the Division’s Role? How to find more information about RI’s plan for CFCM

Who will be my new social case worker? Who will write my plan? Can I still call BHDDH? Do my services change with CFCM?

Will I have the same agency for services? If an individual does not have family and is not able to present his wants/needs, can agency staff be involved with that? What happens if I don't like the plan the new person writes? How will I get my plan writer? Will they be assigned? If I Self-Direct, will I still be able to pick who I want?

What's the process for getting my current Plan Writer certified so I can keep using them when CFCM begins? Who will be creating the Purchase Orders under the new change? Who will be responsible to create Self-Directed purchase orders with CFCM? How will all people who use Self-Directed Services find a support broker?

Will everyone who Self-Directs their DD Services need to use a Support Broker? We currently are due to have a renewed plan written for our Autistic adult daughter this October that would start Jan. 1st, 2024. Will our current Plan Writer change to a Case Manager then? Which role completes community mapping? How will Support Brokerage differ from CFCM in terms of accessing supports?

Will there be a concerted effort to develop more capacity in Support Brokers? Currently, there are only limited resource in this world.

The Support Intensity Scale (SIS-A)

The SIS-A I did my SIS in August 2016.Will I have to redo it in its new format? Or only doing a SIS again for when I have life changing events? What is the on-going review at Annual Meeting under changes to the SIS-A??

If the last SIS was more than five years ago, will BHDDH wait for this new process to redo it? Will families and people with disabilities be able to see the SIS questions before their individual meeting? Where can I find more information about the SIS-A?
